Indian River Soccer Association

The Indian River Soccer Association (IRSA) is a local, community-based organization operating in Indian River, Michigan. We are affiliated with the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) and provide soccer to 300 children in the greater Indian River area, including Wolverine, Afton, Onaway, Cheboygan and Harbor Springs. The association is focused on providing a quality soccer program in northern Michigan that is accessible to all children in the area. Soccer players of all skill levels are welcome! We invite you to take a tour of our site and become acquainted with the services and opportunities that we provide. We welcome new members and families to our soccer community and extend an open invitation for all to attend our monthly meetings which take place in the Inland Lakes High School commons area.

The association is overseen by a Board of Director’s that is elected on an annual basis. We currently have open board positions for those interested in becoming involved!

This season we will be asking parent’s to volunteer as ‘line judges’ at all games. This will allow for some additional interaction for players, parents and coaches and also assist our referees. Games will not be allowed to start until we have volunteers, so please come out with the spirit of helping and take the opportunity to get involved in the game!

Plan Ahead! Every team arranges for their own ‘end of season’ party. Our coaches greatly appreciate it when a group of parents steps up and plans this event - take the time to get other parents involved and make that celebration a success!
